Jazz it up a little: some tracks by Mingus, Dolphy and Coltrane.

Here are some tracks to listen to when you are in the mood. I was anyway, get a glass of wine or whatever, sit back, relax and enjoy. Yep, it’s that kind of evening. A man needs to Jazz it up once in a while.

Want to hear some refreshing Blues: Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band

Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band

I love music, all kinds (except the bad kind). But every once in a while I have to come back where it all started for me: The Blues (thanks Dad, for the introduction to the blues when I was a kid).

My Instagram friend Zaceusa mentioned this lot this weekend. I was immediately hooked. Guitar playing with references to the classic blues of Son House and Charlie Patton (triple yeah) and the band playing with an  attitude and humor. Check them out on their website and get a little taste of their music  here: Devils look like angels.

I hope they come to Belgium real soon.
